Show Tifestyles Covering what matters most A4 • WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 04, 2009 1st Birthdays Missionaries Obituaries Grade Ann Beck Ted Jon Beck Amberly Henderson Our special daughter, sister, aunt, and friend returned to her Heavenly Father oh Jan. 26, 2009. She was born April 25, 1986 in Provo to J. Lane and Leslie Money Henderson. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School. Amberly worked as a Veterinary Technician at Urgent Pet'Care in Orem. She had a special love for animals and was kind and compassionate with them. Amberly was a National High School Rodeo All Around Champion and loved barrel racing, poles, roping, and cutting. Riding horses was a favorite activity. She also enjoyed sports, especially volleyball, basketball, and softball. Amberly was a caring friend to many and loved her family dearly. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While we will miss our association with her greatly, we anxiously await the day we will again be together. She is survived by her parents, Lane and Leslie Elder Ted Jon Beck has been called to serve in the Missouri Independence Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. TJ. is the son of Bill and Linda Beck of Spanish Fork. His grandparents are Jon and Carol Beck, Ruth and the late Ted Leifson. T.J. will be speaking in the Leland Ward located at 360 North 650 West, Spanish Fork on Feb. 8, 2009 at 9 a.m. He will enter the MTC on Feb. 11,2009. Gracie Ann Beck is celebrating her 1st birthday on Feb. 5. She is adored by her parents Brad and Alicia Beck, her grandparents Buddy and Denise Bradford, DeAnn and Steve Carter, Bill and Linda Beck, also by many great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Happy Birthday Gracie! We love you! Paislee Mae Talbot This adorable little girl is our baby sister, Paislee Mae Talbot. She had her 1st birthday on Feb. 3. She is always playing with us, Cambria and Hunter. She has a baby doll that goes everywhere with her. Pais also likes to give kisses andknock things down just so she can say "uh-oh." Mom and Dad, Wesley and Annalee Talbot, are throwing her a big party. Our grandparents, Glen and Tonie Thorpe from Benjamin, and Randel and Maria Tal- uncles and aunts! For his Eagle Project he painted the S.F. Cemetery fence. His parents are Wayne and Maureen Hurst. Grandparents are Shirley Hurst and Madge D. Johnson. VMwn law, Gloria Huff, all of Spanish Fork; one brother, Theron Huff of Lander, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son, Shyrl Huff; one brother, Delos Huff; five sisters, Erma Craig, Verda Gasser, Florence Lewis, Sally (Amelia) Ostler, Elda Wilson. Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at the Walker Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery where Veteran's Military Rites were accorded. He was born Oct. 20, 1918 in Lake Shore to George Elmer (Tel) and Annie N. Westring Huff. He was reared on the family farm and worked there until joining the Army during World War II. He served his country in the Pacific Theater in the Veterinary Corps. He married Betty Barbara Ney on Oct. 4, 1946 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He was very handy, building his first boat, his two car garage, and the railing for his porches. He was a plumber by profession, working for R. Dean Johnson in Spanish Fork, Craighead Plumbing and Heating in Provo, and then retiring from U.S. Steel at Geneva in 1982. He loved to hunt and fish; if it walked, ran, swam, or flew, he hunted it and he ate what he hunted. Vegetable gardening was his hobby; he shared his vegetables with friends and neighbors. Darrell enjoyed bowling at Duke's Lanes for many years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nicole; and her grandfather, J.C. Henderson. Funeral services were held on Jan. 31. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery.
