Skyhawks get first football win Shaun Peterson STAFF WRITER On Friday, Oct. 10 the Salem Hills Skyhawks were looking to get their first win of the season and give the crowd something to cheer about, and that's exactly what they got. Salem ran over Carbon in a 42-6 win with Josh Adams as the offensive star for the Skyhawks. Adams carried the ball 13 times for an impressive 110 yards and four TDs. The Skyhawks got started early with a running game when Kolopa Wolgramm busted open iwo big runs before Josh Adams scrambled 14 yards for a touchdown, giving Salem a 7-0 lead. Salem's offense wasn't done yet and on their next possession Adams ran in another TD taking the Skyhawks lead to 14-0.
