Show -N E W S- Spanish Fork Covering what matters most WEDNESDAY, JULY 9, 2008 • A9 Dream: Speed and Agility p3mp From GOLF • A8 ing for the love of the game. "It would be awesome if you could get out there and make a million dollars," said Christensen. "But for me, if I could go out there and pay my way, the love of the game is enough to keep going. If 1 make enough to pay my way and be able to survive and enjoy all of the experiences I have, that's good enough for me." Christensen's favorite moment has been competing at the US Senior Open in backto-back years. One of them was in Kansas at Prairie Dunes and the other took place at a course called Whistling Straight. While there, he was one out of 60 men who had a chance to compete against guys like Tom Watson. "I've analyzed my perspective on where I've been," he said. "I've lived my dream. It was a dream for me to be a professional golfer and to be able to play in some major events like US Opens. Only a few people get that kind of opportunity. To be able to walk out on the 18th hole of a major golf tournament inside the ropes with thousands of people there, there's not a better feeling in the world."
