There were several hundred babies in the contest. She won with her red, white, and blue costume. Elder Daven Kent Rosenbaum, son of Kent and Joanne Rosenbaum, has returned from serving in the Brazil Manaus Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be speaking in the Wolf Hollow First Ward at 1240 South 1158 East Spanish Fork on July 13, 2008 at 9 a.m. Achievement Milestone Kasee Smith Wayne and Arlene Peterson Wayne and Arlene Peterson, long time residents of Spanish Fork, are pleased to be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in the Manti Temple on July 2, 1958. They have had many accomplish- ments in the past 50 years together. They will be celebrating with their family, which includes three kids Bryon (Carrie) Peterson, Kelly (Alison) Peterson and Valinda Bates; 14 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. CARTERS PHOTOGRAPHY Kasee Smith, agricultural educator from Spanish Fork, has been selected as the 2008 state winner of the Outstanding Young Member Award given by the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE). Outstanding Young Member award winners are agricultural educators who have been teaching for no more than six years and who have demonstrated significant progress toward establishing a successful agriculture education program. Applicants are. judged on a variety of criteria, including teaching philosophy, effective classroom and experiential instruction, development of partnerships, and professional growth. The Outstanding Young Member award was created to encourage early career agriculture teachers to both remain in the profession and become active members in their pro- Russell Moody and Nicole Grant chose June 28 to be sealed for time and eternity in the Las Vegas Nevada Temple. They will be honored at a reception July 5 in the Spanish Fork East Stake Center, 860 East 600 South Spanish Fork. The reception will begin at 7 p.m. Nicole is the daughter of Jerald Williams Grant and Debra Ann Willoughby. She attended high school in the Phoenix area and is graduating from the Unjversity of Southern California. Russell is the son of Layne and Leann Moody. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School and the University of Utah. He is working in the LosAngeles Area. The couple will make their home in L.A. The mission of NAAE is "professionals providing agricultural education for the global community through visionary leadership, advocacy and service." The NAAE office is located on the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington. Regional winners will receive a cash award and expense paid trip to attend the 2008 NAAE conference in Charlotte, N.C. The NAAE Outstanding Young Member Award program is sponsored by John Deere, as a special project of the National FF A Foundation.
