He is the son of Mike & Amber Mendenhall of Spanish Fork, the grandson of John & Lenna Mendenhall of Spanish Fork and Craig & Debbie Geslison of Provo. Nash loves to throw balls, listen to music, and play with his cousins, Kaimbri and Averi. Nash, you bring so much happiness to our lives and everyone else around you. You are our "big" little man! We love you so much. Michael Haskell, 13, received the rank of Eagle Scout. Michael was honored at a Court of Honor held on February 10. Michael painted house numbers on the curbs for his project*. Michael is the son of Steve and Karen Haskell of Salem. His grandparents are Ivan and DeLowa Haskell of Payson and Shirl and Nedra Hanks of Salem. Michael is a member of troop 864, sponsored by the Salem 4th Ward. Michael is in 8th grade at Spanish Fork Junior Happy birthday! Missionary High where he is a member of the golf team. Milestone Matthew Riley Vance Elder Matthew Riley Vance, son of Regan and Jana Vance, has been called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Lubbock Mission. He will be preaching the Gospel in the Spanish language and will report to the Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Elder Vance will be speaking Sunday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. in the East Bench Ward located at 130 North 1430 East, Spanish Fork. Sterling Jones Oh no! The Big 5-0! Happy birthday, Sterling! Theodore Howard "Ted" Gordon For Marshall Dunn's Eagle project, he will host a dance for special education students, Saturday, Feb. 16 at the SFHS new gym. He needs help teaching the kids to dance, as well as help setting up. Set up will begin at 5 p.m. with the dance starting at 7 p.m. Dress is semi-formal (Sunday clothes).
