They each performed several of their favorite memorized pieces as well as duets. After the program refreshments arid visiting were enjoyed by all. They are piano students of Lynette Morrill. Youth Arts Festival Courtesy photo PRESIDENTIAL GUEST: SFHS 05-06 student body president, Andrea Hales, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club. She was guest speaker for the "Terrific Kids" program and the "Hope of America" program. She congratulated all the winners and then told them about four areas in their life they need to improve on. First, use their talents and abilities to serve others. Second, be a leader- in academics, in sports and in all areas of your life. It is important to set a good example for those that follow you. Third, continue to develop a strong moral character. Be genuine, be a good person, learn right from wrong and always choose the right. Fourth, be loyal to your family, friends, your school and to your community. Von Isamon presented a special certificate to Andrea from the Kiwanis Club. Sons of Pioneers Sons of Pioneers will meet June 21. The Palmyra Chapter of the Sons of the Pioneers will meet Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Western Inn in Spanish Fork. Guest speaker will be Val Carter "Cowboy Poet." All current members and interested persons are invited to attend. The dinner is potluck and bring your own dishes. For more information on joining the Sons of the Pioneers, call President Calvin Joiley at 489-5944. Birth Announcement Conner Ben Holley Michael Holley and Michelle Jensen Holley wish to announce the birth of their son Conner Ben Holley on June 9,2007 at the St. Mark's- Hospital.
