Milestone Wayne and Velma Boothe Wayne and Velma Boothe recently celebrated their 80th birthdays on June 7th and May 20th, 2009 respectively. She was born in Oakley, Idaho and Wayne in Burley, Idaho. They met at a teacher's college and were married in the Idaho Falls Temple August 9, 1949. This August will be their 60th wedding anniversary, so this is a memorable year for them. .Wayne taught in public schools for six years and Seminary and LDS Institute for 34 years. He retired in 1990 and afterwards they served two LDS missions. They have seven children—Randy (Susan) West, Nelson Kim and Brenna West of Santaquin are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Kimberly Ann to her sweetheart Brady Kurtis Nelson, son of Kurris and RaeAnn Nelson of Spanish Fork on Saturday, June 20. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Santaquin North Stake Center, 545 north 200 east. Kimberly is currently attending UVU majoring in dance and physical educa- tion. Kimberly loves teaching dance, she owns her own studio, Step In Tune Dance, and she is currently teaching out of Peteetneet Academy here in Pay son. Brady has achieved his journeymen certification in the line of HVAC. Brady is currently employed at Triple T Heating and Cooling, where he has worked for the past three years. Scott, 81, of Salem and formerly Glendora, California, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 in Springville of causes incident to age. Donal was born in Provo on March 6, 1928 to Andrew Hunter Scott and Veda Alvina Rowley. At the age of two years the family moved to Prescott, Ariz. where he grew up and attended school, graduating from Prescott High School. Soon after graduation he returned to the Provo area T.
