He will be speaking on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 9 a.m. in the Salem First Ward, 60 South Main, Salem. Evan is the son of Lawrence' and Loralee Rees. Hyrum Landon Maples ' will celebrate his first birthday on Jan. 4. His parents are Christopher and Heidi Maples of Cedar City. Joining in the celebration will be grandparents Carl and Debbie Maples of Milford and Stephen and Phyllis Peterson of Salem.
