"Several ste ps arc necessary for admission, so we are advising students who have not yet submitted application documents co· do so as soon as possible," Dale Orton, director of admissions, said. ''The move to a semester calendar reduces the time available this year to complete the paper work. Students who attended SUU during the just-completed spring quarter do not need to re-apply for admjssion." , Before attending SUU; incoming freshmen students must submit an application for admission and an official high school transcript, or GED (Graduation Equivalency Diploma) scores. Each applicant should also arrange for his/ he r ACT (American College Test) or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores to be sent to suu·s admissions office. Transfer students from othe r colleges or universities should forward an offici al transcript from c:ich college or university atte nded . Transfer snidents with less than 4; quarter hours completed should also submit AC f or SAT scores and a high school transcript. Both first Lime freshmen and transfer students must forward a S25 non· · refundable admissions fee with their :tpplication for admission.
