WINTERS HERE Registration begins today Early registration for winter classes begins this week with action restricted to senior students today and opening to all students tomorrow. Open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Registrars Office of the Administration Building, e d registration on a basis continues through Nov. 20 and resumes on the first day of classes, Jan. 2. A newly installed policy of the Academic Deans Council requires faculty advisement of students prior to registration. According to Provost Terry D. Alger, the policy was implemented to reduce conflict in a four-yea- r schedule and to best use funds. quarter first-com- jk SK ' "Y S5S ; ' 'w V '"s- -- V t r - i .A m first-serve- It is expected that students will prepare their registration forms available from the Registrars Office in conjunction with their advisers and have the departmental stamp placed in the upper right hand corner of the form to signify that advisement has occurred, said Alger, who noted that students who have not declared a major should obtain advisement from the Counseling Center. Registrar Barbara Young indicates that tuition and fees are due for all advanced registrations by 3 p.m. on the first day of classes. Late registration fees of $10 are assessed beginning Jan. 3. Jan. 15 is the last day for late registration and the last day to add classes. i i |
