Senior Randall Hickman shown m the talent competition with his vocal rendition of a piece from Westside Story , charmed the lady judges in his formal and sports wear, and was named 1984-8- 5 Mr. SUSC. The first runner-u- p in the Mr. SUSC contest was J.C. Chan, who choreographed and performed a spectacular breakdance. Chans sincere smile, most often aimed- in the direction of the judges, no doubt added points to his total. The talent competition was swept away by Patrick Sterling, who performed a pantomime to the hit Tainted Love. Sterling was chosen as second runner-u- p to Mr. SUSC. Other talents of the evening included the Barry Manilow look-alikTodd Gibson, singing We Had a Good Thing Going, Russel Morrells perfected blue light special, Jeff Swindlehursts version of A Few of My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music, and sexy Mitch Algers mime to Risky Business. We hope that makes your Christmas merrier! 19 N. Main, CedarCity ) Comedy is not pretty. And some of the comedy of Franken and Davis was, um, unique. They do have the distinction of being the only comedy team that weighs the same. But the two make a better pair for more reasons than that. In frequent talk show routines, they fed off each other naturally, even when the gags wandered off into controlled chaos. Their closeness was effectively highlighted by Davis as An Human Echo, who didnt know quite when to stop echoing. The Franken and Davis Victory Tour might not get another curtain call at SUSC, but if the country can tolerate like shows full of the entire present-da- y Saturday Night Live cast, it must be starving for true talents like Franken and Davis. low-talen- ts kowloon RestauRant (formerly the Great Wall) VL delicious Chinese an6 ameRican food!
