Sponsored by the SUSC Division of Continuing Education, the workshop will be from 1:30-- 3 p.m. and will follow a group discussion format. The cost is $15. Kay Messerly, director of student health services, said the workshop is open to anyone who would like to learn more about PMS and how to deal with the problem. During the first hour of class, Messerly will discuss the social implications, the anatomy and physiology of PMS, and how women and others can deal with PMS. The rest of the time will be used for questions and open discussion. There is more of an incidence of PMS than most people think. The workshop will teach individuals how to deal with the problem, Messerly said. There are a lot of things that can be done to help. Participants can register in Old Administration 203 prior to the workshop or at the first class session.
