Judicial Council The constitution of the Southern Utah University Student Association, provides for three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. The Judicial powers of the SUUSA are vested in the JUDICIAL COUNCIL. This council consists of a Chief Justice and four Associate Justices. The primary function of the Judicial Council is to keep informed of the legal affairs of the SUUSA and to insure that all activities and functions of the SUUSA conform to the Constitition. The Council convenes as needed to rule on any cases presented. Members of the Judicial Council also sit on other Boards and Committees. SUUSA is looking for students who are interested in serving on the Judicial Council. Applications are being accepted in the Student Government offices. This is a good opportunity for students who want to be involved but who dont feel they can spend a lot of time. Interested students should apply by Dec 5th. Student Handbooks Student Handbooks are made available to students each free of charge. The Handbooks contain information on: year services provided for students, clubs and organizations, the student association, graduation guidelines, housing, upcoming events, sports schedules, processes for complaints, and other useful information. Handbooks are available at the senate desk in the student government offices. DONT FORGET!
