NOTICE OF BONDS TO BE ISSUED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of Section Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended that on February 5, 1 838, the Mayor and Town Council (the Governing Body") of Alton Town, Kane County, Utah (the "Issuer"), accepted the conditional offer of the United States of America to purchase $1 36,000 in Subordinated Water Revenue Bond, Series 1998 (the Bond"), of said Issuer at the price of $1 36,000. If less that $1 36,000 in Subordinated Water Revenue Bonds is sold. Alton Town will be obligated to repay only the amount of principal actually paid. Said Bond, pursuant to a Resolution of the Governing Body of the Issuer, adopted on February 5, 1 998, are to be issued for the purpose of paying all or part of the cost of construction of water system, improve ments, including construction of a water storagetank, transmission lines and development of springs, together with the acquisition of necessary land, rights of way and other appurtenances and facilities of said Issuer, (the Project) and for such legal, engineering and fiscal agent expenses as are reasonably incurred in connection with the acquisition and construction of said improvements and with the authorization and issuance of such bonds as may be properly payable from the proceeds thereof. The Bond is in the amount of $1 36,000 and bears interest at the rate of not to exceed seven (7.0) per cent per annum and shall be due and payable in not to exceed forty (40) years from the date of said Bond in accordance with the Amortization Schedule to be delivered to the Bondholder by the Issuer at the time of delivery of said Bond or at such time as the Authorization Schedule is determined in accordance with rules and regulations of the United States of America.
