Show 0 In September, the Garkane Board of Directors voted unanimously to relocate the Garkane Power office from Richfield to Hatch, Utah. As the map below indicates, there are eight districts that make up the Garkane Power customer base. Each district is represented by one director. District 1 includes Fish Lake, Burrville, Koosharem, Greenwich, Angle, Antimony and the areas surrounding said communities. District 2 comprises of Loa, Fremont, Lyman, Teasdale, Grover and the a re i ? surrounding said communities. District 3 entails Bicknell, Torrey, Fruita, Hanksville and the areas surrounding aia communities. District 4 includes Escalante, Boulder, and the Eastern Garfield County area. Districts is made up of Alton, Glendale, Orderville, Mt. Carmel and the areas surrounding said communities. District 6 has Hatch, Henrieville, Cannonville, Tropic, Bryce Canyon, Spry and the areas surrounding said communities. District 7 includes Big Water and Eastern Kane County, Johnson Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Kanab Creek Ranchos and the Kanab area. Moccasin, Pipe Springs, Centennial Park, Cane Beds, the Fredonia area, Jacob Lake, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the surrounding areas all in Arizona. District 8 is made up of Mammoth Creek, Aspen Highland, Bonanza Estates, Harris Flat, Strawberry Valley, Ponderosa, Duck Creek, Timber Trails, Color Country, Movie Ranch, Meadow View, and the areas surrounding said communities. The office should be centrally located and on the Garkane system! Five of the districts and most of the customers are in Kane, Garfield, Washington, Coconino and Mohave Counties! The special meeting has been called for, the primary purpose of tallying the election results of a proposed change which would move Garkane's headquarters facility from Richfield to Hatch.
