Nelson of Salt Lake City, Robert Richard (Suzanne) Rosemary Chatterton Our treasured wife and Chatterton, Daniel Glen (Connie) Chatterton, Rachel Chatterton Booth, and Rebecca Lee (Larry) Havens, all of Orem. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, her father W.H. McCormick of Rogers, Texas, two brothers and one sister: James Thomas McCormick ofMidlothian, Texas; Travis McCormick of Belton, Texas; and Jeannette Jan" McLean of Rogers, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services were held on September 30, 1997 in the Cherry Hill 7th Ward Chapel in Orem. mother, Rosemary McCormick Chatterton, 55, of Orem, Utah, returned to her Heavenly Father, September 26, 1997 in Salt Lake City after a brief illness. She was born December 31, 1941 in Rogers, Texas to William Henry and Jemmie Murphy McCormick. She married the love of her life, Richard O. Bom June 6,1905 in Salt Lake City to Eric Herman Anderson and Ida Lyman. Married Orsen Taylor Young July 1,1925 in Magna, Utah, and was later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He died August 13, 1973. Marion taught school for many years, and was a respected educator. She taught in Idaho and Utah, and retired from the Kane County School District. She had many talents, and her expertise and knowledge in areas such as Paiute Culture, Language, Traditions, Plants and such were known and called upon by various college educators in their studies. Through her work as a Cultural Advisor she traveled and demonstrated her talents in beadwork, basketry, tanning hides, making buckskin gloves and moccasins at many places, such as the Heard Museum of Phoenix, Zion National Park, and the Festival of the American West in Logan, Utah. Her knowledge of Rock Art, Animal Studies, and Plants took her on many trips down the Colorado River. After her children were grown she had the opportunity to travel to many cities and to experience many cultures. Her grandchildren were fortunate to visit such places as Hands Across America" in Gallup, NM, the top of the Space Needle in Seattle, WA, the monuments at Washington, DC, and many places in between. They also had the opportunity to make Western movies with such stars as Burt Reynolds and Robert Redford. Lucilleherselfhad roles in 28 movies. She took great pleasure in the company of her friends. She had great stories to tell of her adventures" with many friends and we know they will all miss her as much as we will. She was a great matriarch of our family and was a great teacher and inspiration to all that came in contact with her. Her laugh, her patience, her cultural teachings, and her hope and bel ief tha t good things would come to all people will always remain with us. Funeral services will be held in the Kaibab Multipurpose Building at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, a half night sing was held Monday evening at the Building, and an all night sing Tuesday evening. She is survived by her Larry Lester Little, age 73, died Friday morning, October 3, 1997 at his home in Santa Ana, California. He was born May 21, 1924 in Kanab, Utah to Madge Cram and Lester Findlay Little. He graduated from Kanab High School in 1942, and attended the University of Utah.
