We, as officers, want to be able to give everything (and more) back to our members and to the community that have given so much to us. We plan on putting in the time and effort it takes to accomplish the goals weve set, and hope to be able to help others reach their goals also. We had a great county fair this year and want to thank everyone for their time and effort. There was a good showing of stock and prizes. FFA week was October 9 through October 14. It consisted of dress-u- p day, camouflage day, a cook-ou- t, a Sweetheart contest and an assembly. Sweetheart winners were announced at the Deer Hunters Ball on October 14. They were Aurelia Johnson, Valley High Sweetheart, first attendant Jessy Heaton, and second attendant Caroline Heaton. We congratulate the committees for jobs well done, and thank everyone who participated. Our thanks also to everyone who helped with FFA week, especially Dellas Sorenson, our advisor, Sarah Heaton and Susan Palmer. Bang the drum slowly Michelle Frost plays the drum at Photo by Myrna Cox.
