Thirteen young people participated in the Favorite Food Show: Marcie Heaton, Judy Allen, Lisa Judd, Tina Jensen, Sammy Jensen, Tina Trena Heaton, Erenda Madsen, Lannell Heaton, Nan Tait, Cindy Heaton, Kathy Judd and Jaeleen Jeffrey. Marcie Heaton and Lisa Judd received blue ribbons for their displays. Luncheon was served to about 35 people. Kay Cooley, the new Home Demonstration Agent for Coconino County, came from Flagstaff to assist with this day. She brought 10 judging rounds; the girls tried them all. Mr. and Mrs John Doak from Oklahoma City, friends of the S?m Owens, which they knew in Champaine, 111. They have two Brittany spaniels. They are running them at the field trials in Flagstaff this week. First time held in Flagstaff. Mrs E. A. Rascoe has returned to Kanab after visiting for two months with her daughter in Eu-geOre Mr. and Mrs Owen Johnson are on a business trip into Colorado Mr. and Mrs Mason Meeks with their grandchildren, Gary, Leslie and Lori were in Kanab last week from Grand Canyon. Mr and Mrs. Larry Leavitt have had guests this week from their home in New York State; Mr and Mrs Dick Sitts and two daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Mor-le- y and six children. Mrs Ora Eatough has returned home after visiting her sister in Seattle and her son in American Fork for several weeks. Mrs Jim Ott and children are going to Farmington, N. M., to spert a week with her grandmother Her sister Veroni, who has been spending the summer with her will also go. These girls won a trophy for the participation and Were just real performances. of these girls proud Mr. and Mrs Quinn Newby and girls took the cheer leaders to Logan for a cheer leading school Those going were Carol Lynn Baird, dau, hter of Mr and Mrs. Arden Baird; Lucy Esplin, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Dick Esplin; Jolyne Newby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Quinn Newby; Janet Campbell, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Vane Campbell of Alton Emily Adair was hospitalized after falling in her home. She is now out of the hospital and at the Webster Adair home. Mr. and Mrs Webster Adair brought their daughter Wilda and children home with them tc visit for awhile. Frank Harmon and daughter, Heile, visited here Wednesday enroute to Provo. Lillian is teaching at the Church College in Hawaii. Visiting at the home of Lasca Chamberlain were M.. and Mrs. Bill Turcsanski from Salt Lake City, Ann Esplin and Joe Turcsanski from Monroe. While here they took a trip up the river to the Rainbow Bridge. They reported having a very enjoyable trip. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Brown of Jacob Lake, Ariz., visited Sunday afternoon at the Lasca Chamber-lai- n home. Going to Bountiful for the week end were Mary Lee Baird, Charlene Smith and Melanie Brinker- - Burning money? 1 Visitors at the Grace Heaton home have been the Dell Spencers of Las Vegas and the Lane Taits of St George Dorthra Barton and Vilate Esplin went to Idaho to visit with relatives and to bring Craig Barton home, who has been visiting with the Monte Sorensens Many of the Church workers from here attended the Regional Meeting held in St. George Saturday. Some of the townspeople attended the Golden Wedding anniversary held in honor of Mr. and Mrs Joseph S. Johnson in Kanab on Saturday night, and the open house for Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Janes. Mrs. VeRene Tait and family of Fredonia visited at the Lawrence Esplin home Sunday afternoon. Mrs John M. Crofts and daughters visited at the B. O Rust and J. E. Crofts homes sunday. Visiting at the Bessie Brooksby home are the Ed Sundquists of California. Mrs. Sundquist is the former Emma Jean Brooksby. Mr and Mrs Laurence Reese and family and Susan Heaton went to Salt Lake Cit Sunday. Mrs Farel Lamb and sons vis- ited the Page, Sunday.
