Present at the bill signing last Friday in Salt Lake Citv were Senator Dixie Leavitt,, R Cedar City, Representative J. Harold Mitchell, R Parowan, sponsors, and Dr. Braithwaite. Young Kanab Couple Will Note 50th Anniversary An Open House to celebrate the Golden Wedding Anniver-ar- y of Mr. and Mrs. Warren D. Young of Kanab will be held Sunday, February 28 here at the home of a daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Beard 143 West 3rd North. The event will be from 2 to 5 pm. and the family said they would like to invite friends, relatives as well as anyone else to call and visit with them at that time. .They request no gifts The Youngs were married in Kanab March 1, 1915 and have resided here all of their lives. They presently operate the Treasure Trail Motel Children of the couple who will be here to help celebrate the anniversary are: Mre. Tone Woolley, Henderson, NeM. W. It was decided to rip the kw grade cutting type lumber Into window sash stock and cut out the defect and ship clear blanks. The material that will not gc into window sash is going to Kaibab Manufacturing Company in Flagstaff to be made into finger jointed mouldings. The grade and short cuttings that will not go into the above grades is being made Into no. 1 door core. The p'ant cpnslsts of a straight line rip saw, three de feet chop saws, complete blow system, transfer chains, and ' turntable. 1$ The lumber run through the rip saw, transferred to the defect saws and the lumber then goes onto the turntable where it is sorted and stacked for grade.
