He was born Jan. 29, 1903, in Richfield, a son of Myron Leonard and Francis Caroline Cloward Burr. He attended Richfield schools and Snow College. He also taught school in Millard, Wayne and Kane Counties. He organized and served as first oresident of the Wayne County Teachers Assn.
