Carmel, Utah. The plan calls for canal lining of" 10,884 linear feet of canal on the east and west ditches of the canal system. This will be the largest single installation of canal lining ever installed in the Kane County Soil Conservation District. l. K Got. George D. This amounts to $1.40 per linear foot. Earlier a contract was let to Hyrum Dudley of Monroe, Utah for $6,744.00 to line 5,264 feet of ditch on the east side of the system.
