Winchell Atwater of Playa Del Rey, California, drove him back to Kanab. Delores and Marlin Brown and their three children, from Provo, Utah, and Vaylatte and Mac Brown and their baby girl, from Sandy, Utah, are expected to arrive in Kanab Friday the 21st to join their father Gumsey and brother Rex hunting. Claud Glazier and Harriet Judd reported on progress being made vt the city cemetery. An effort is being made to Indentify everyone who is buried in the cemetery and olans are under way to improve he cemetery appearance. A call is being made to any persons who have euonymus bushes to make slips this fall that can be donated to the cemetery next spring for a hedge. Mrs. Esther Judd reported that an estimate of cost is being prepared for the proposed restroom at the Kanab City Park. A discussion group was held to get suggestions on how to raise the money for the city park restrooms. All agreed that each organization should carry some fund raising project to raise money for the restrooms. Suggested fund raising activities were. Afton has been ill but is better now. Merzs son Roscoe B. his wife and three children from Bellflower California were here over the past week end. Roscoe attended his class reunion, and we noticed him riding on a float in the Parade, looking like a rose among thorns or was it vice versa, Roscoe? Frank R. drove over from Flagstaff while Roscoe was here to pay his respects to his mother and visit his brother. Men's daughter June and her husband Ray Clements drove here from Flagstaff the week end of the 8th. Menas two daughters Lasca Chamberlain Orderville, and Farris Brown, Fredonia have watched over her carefully and kept her house clean which she appreciates so much. She has had a cast on her arm for five weeks now and will surely be happy to get it off. Otherwise she feels fine. Vin and Itass Neilson are in Kanab for the hunting Mason.
