Show v '' Thursday, August 11, I960 SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS, Duck Creek Outdoor Party Is Well Attended Outing Report The Kanab North Ward Young-at-HeaMarrieds held an outdoor party at the home of Dave Brown Saturday night, Aug. 6 There were 35 in attendance. Ronald and Katheryn Judd arranged for an enjoyable program Ronald as master of ceretnonies. Those taking part were Anna Deal Black, Mary Bylund, Mildred Keller, Lena Davis, Alma Keller, Ronald and Kathryn Judd and Ferrol Tail. Newly elected officers for this group are Wallace and Magree Schaerr, Presidents; Archer and Jenny Swapp, Secretaries. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Davis are! advisors to this group and Wayne Rose is the teacher. Outgoing officers are Jack and Gloria Crofts, Presidents; Theo and Zona McAllister, Secretaries. All those interested in the activities of this class, either LDS or not, arc invited and urged to Well were back again. Back from Duck Creek that is. What a time we had. Thd first problem we undertook was to set up our tent without the aid of poles or ropes, but the witty brains of Steve Heaton ancLWil-li- s Little solved that problem for us. The rest of our stay at camp was very pleasant. We worked hard and succeeded in getting first for camp participation and our skit During the Candle Lighting Ceremony our club sang a beautiful parting song. I know the audience enjoyed it. Our club and may other clubs in Kane County, would all like to thank Wayne Rose, our county for making our stay at Duck Creek a safe1 and pleasant one, although were sure, he had as much fun as we did, maybe even more.
