House, manager of the Salt Lake City Land office, notice of the filing of a list of plats of survey and an order providing for opening of these public lands effective at 10 a.m. Tuesday of this week. While all the listed lands are located in southern Utah, only two groupings appear to be located in Kane county. Lack of space prevents The News from publishing the complete listing, but the Kane county areas are described as follows:' Township 39 S., Range 1 E Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, SHNH, and SH in Sections 1, 2 and 3; and all of Sections 16, 32, and 36. The area described aggregate 3,848.08 acres. Township 39 S., Range 1 E. Lots 1 2, 3, 4, SHNH and SH of Sections 1 and 3. Township 34 S., Range 12 E. Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, SHNH, and SH Section 3; lots 1, 2, 3, 4, EHWH, EH, Sec. 31; and all of Sec. 33. Township 32 S., Range 16 E. All of Section 35. Township 34 S., Range 17 E. Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, EHWH, EH, Section 31. Township 33 S., Range 17 E. Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, EHWH, EH, Section 31 and all of Section 33. Township .32 S., Range 19 E. Watson of Kanab is one of those attending an Economic Education Workshop which is being held at Brigham Young university for a period of three weeks. This Utah workshop is sponsored by the Joint Council for Economic Education, Utah State Department of Public Instruction and Brigham Young university. Dr. Smith Pond, dean of the Graduate School at Brigham Young university, is directing the workshop. Mrs. Watson is chairman of the publicity committee and editor of the Utah Workshopper News. T.
