Florence and Gwenda Roundy and girl friend returned with them for the week end, then Horace took them back to Salt Lake Sunday evening. Mrs. Israel Hoyt, Mrs. Rollan Hoyt and Bruce, Rahnell and Mike Hoyt, all from Merced, Cal ifomia, were week end visitors. The faculty of Fredonia high school has chosen the delegates to Boys and Girls State, held each year in Flagstaff and Tucson the frist week in June. The Ameican Legion and Auxiliary are the sponsors, respectively. Local sponsors will be Fredonia City Council for Wade Brooksby, Boys State, with Floyd Collette as alternate. Fredonia Delna Swapp, Girls State, with Darlene Judd, alternate. These boys and girls are chosen from the Junior Class on the basis of these qualities and in this order: Physical fitness, Leadership, Character, Cooperativeness, Honesty, Scholarship and Courage.
