When I retire, I will have taught in the high school and middle school for a total of eighteen years and many of my current students have parents who attended high school here and were my students. The past fourteen years be- fore moving to Fredonia I managed a 245 acre recreation park northwest Washington that was something like a small city. We had about eight thousand people through the park each year. We owned, operated and maintained our own electric system. We set our electric poles, strung the high wires, wired the transformers and any other wiring that was needed. We owned, operated and maintained our own water system and performed all tasks needed to keep this system in compliance with country, state and federal regulations.
