Max Meeks won the trophy for a domestic pet and Nick Ramsay received one for the most unusual entry. Special prizes were presented to Bret Lamb, Kent Brinkerhoff, Terry Button, Mick Caruso. Good neighbors from the other communities were President Daniel Frost of Kanab, Virginia Stevens of Mt. Carmel, Eugene Russell of Orderville, Malcom Robinson of Glendale and of Alton. Mr. M. V. Adams, Kane County Commissioner, presented the Good Neighbor Award. The trophies and awards were presented by Miss Kane County and her attendents. Her talent entry was a humorous reading entitled, "Baby fn the Bathroom." Sherrie Baird is 17 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Baird of Orderville. She Is a graduate of Valley High and Is presently working at the Glendale Mercantile. She was sponsored by Jones Motor Company. She likes to dance, sew and paint, and plans to major In Home Economics at the College of Southern Utah. Her talent number was a dance "I feel Pretty" from "West Side Story." As Miss Kane County, Linda has her choice of entering the Miss Utah for Miss Universe, Miss Utah State Fair, or Utah Dairy Princess contest.
