Local Red Cross Chapter Appoints How Chairman, Honors Officer Leaving The chairman and officers of the Kane County Red Cross held dinner meeting last Thursday night In honor of Mrs. Erma Matheson, the Blood Bank Chairman. The Mathesons are moving soon to Nephi, Utah, where Mr. Matheson has been transfer-ed- . Twelve people attended the meeting from the Kanab and Fredonia area. Business maters were discussed and Mrs. Nita Aiken has accepted the Blood Bank Chairmanship. Dr. P. G. Fulstow, First Aid Instructor, brought up the question of contributing to the fund being raised by the Kanab Fire Department for the purchase of a portable inhaler, for artifi-ca- l respiration. The Fire Dept wtahes to buy such an apparatus and guarantees that half of the membership will take instructions in its use. The inhalptor will be on call at all times in area.
