Christmas ranks as one of the two busiest days ol the year for long distance calls, he explained. People in our area who plan to make such calls should be aware that most everyone else piobably has similar plans. The Christmas holiday load seems to be due to telephone cus- tomers wanting to share their Christmas with distant friends and loved ones. Many of their calls go to outlying communities not normally involved in such heavy loads, and some delay in completing calls can result. The handbook lists numerous county, regional, state and federal agencies and institutions which can be counted on for assistance with cbmmunity travel development plans, including the Utah Travel Council; Utahns Inc.; Utah State University extension services; trade associations; and chambers of commerce. In addition, each county commission has appointed County Tourist Liasons to serve as contacts with the Utah Travel Council.
