Mrs. Isa- Mrs. Oscar Judd, ac Johnson, Mrs. Beth Stephenson, Mrs. Carol .Heaton, Mrs. Veldon Judd, Mrs. . Richard Mrs. Elmer Rider, Mrs. May, Cliff Swapp, and Mrs. C. A. Griffiths,. Jr. A special guest was Mrs. Waren Brinkeroff, Glendale, as well as the honoree. The. refreshment table was centered by a large cake, decorated in pink and blue with a large cake, decorated; in pink and blue, with a scales mounted on top, The scales held tiny baby shoes, made from molded sugar, and the ngt cups were more . of the tiny shoes. Root beer floats were also served to guests. Many lovely gifts were presented to Mrs. Brawn for her expected baby. Appropriately, the evening party was held during a rain shower- - outside. Mr. and Mrs. Angus L. Chadwick and sop, Myron, were recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Altus Jensen and Mr. and. Mrs. D. F. Rider at Fredonia. Mrs. Don Ellison and daughter, Jo Lynne were home for the weekend from their summer school at Flagstaff. Another daughter, .Mrs; Robert McClymonds and family also spent the weekend in Fredonia from their home at Williams. Fredonia LDS Primary officers and teachers had their closing social, a cookout at Fre- donia Town Park last weekend, with Mrs.. John O. Vaughn president, and councelors Mrs. Burton Judd' and Mrs. Merrill Button in charge. Miss Mary Bess Farr left on July 30 to accompany her uncle and aunt , Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Heinstand and daughter, Linda Phoenix to Michigan and inter esting places between there and Fredonia. They plan to visit Carlsbad Caverns, and Niagara Falls, as well as making a side trip into Ontario, Canada. Yheir - return trip will bring them to Fredonia by way of the Mormon Trail, through Iowa, Nebraska, and other sjates. They plan to be gone until August 21. Mr. and Mrs. 0. L. Holmes and sons, Mike and Ronnie, and Holnephew, Charlie Brown brook, are spending two weeks visiting friends and relatives in Oklahoma.. The Duane Judd family are camping this week on Mount Trumbull as a family, excursion. Mrs. Lawaun Hatch and Mrs; Afden Judd entertained for their daughters, Colleen and Linda the past week at a joint birthday party. Th e g i rl sfcousinC celebrate their birthdays just two days apart, and are the same age. Enjoying the treasure hunt for peanuts and candy kisses , were Deanna Cox, Dianne Campbell, Patsy Hatch. A camp style cook out for the 117 persons present made it a day to remember, Mrs. Altus Jensen tells us. Oldest member of the family present was Uncle Rex relatives and friends the past week, they returned home Monday, Meriann Anderson, daughter of Mr .and Mrs. Kent Ander-so- n accompanied them home for a two weeks visit. Mr. and Mrs. Ortho Christensen and family of St. George, were here this week seeing friends. He is our former seminary teacher. Bishop Jack H. and his wife and children left this week' for Mexico for a ten day vacation. Brown, 82, of Provo, with Uncle Vern, 75, of Panguitch coming in second. Aunt Jessie! Brown, Kanab, was the oldest woman present ,but she declined to give her age. Mis. Ben Brown, St. Georqe, was also present for the fun. Thursday, August 6, 1964 Cox reunion held in Emery the past week. Mr. Dee Workman and sister Patsy who have employment at Henderson, Nevada, came home for a short visit this week. (Matt, 5:9).
