Show Social Orderville Goin s On By Margaret Sorensen Memorial weekend visitors at Rena Taits were Travis, Kandy, & Nilee Tait from Bountiful, Greg & Irene Tait and family from So. Jordan, John & Peggy Reese and boys from Las Vegas, LaVell & Dean, Quinn & Chamberlain ofCedar City, and Ray & Verona Talbot of northern Utah. Mel, Rachel, Danny & Duston Cox went to Evanston, WY to visit Kyean & Marilyn Brinkerhoff and boys, then they . spent some time in West Valley with Rachels brother, Gary & Hazel Bradshaw, who are preparing to serve a mission in China. Mrs. Corinne Lavin of Salt Lake City and a group of family members spent the weekend at their home in Mt. Carmel. They belong to the Merwin & Virginia Stevens family. Mrs. Laura Hartley and children and her sister, Jean, spent the weekend with their parents, LaMond & Cioma Keaton. Gerry J. Hoyt reported hismis-sio- n in Orderville 1st Ward after serving in Korea for two years. Mike & Heide Boyd and children ofFlordia and many other friends and family members were here for the special occasion. Larry & Jo Stevens ofMidvale, UT spent the weekend at their farm in Mt. Carmel. , Dale & Margaret Sorensen, and Allen &Twila Cox went toLaVerkin to attend the wedding reception for Chris & Janae (Loveland) Raban. Then Joyce & Glenn Johnson came to spend the weekend from their home in Ogden, UT. Larry & Janice, Richard Susan and family, Tim & & SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY JUNE 3, 1998 I went to St. George Saturday to help Kailey, daughter of Daniel and Amy Esplin celebrate her 8th birthday and Baptism. Members of the Joseph & Amy Reese family met at the Mt. Carmel Rock Church for lunch and a good visit on Memorial Day. Some of the members attending were Joann & Vane Campbell of Alton, Jim & Sharon Willis of Kanab, Kenley & Darlene Reese of Mesquite, NV, Jeff Reese of Las Vegas, and their mother, Amy Reese of Mesquite. J.R., son of Roland & Vivin Chamberlain, visited from his home in northern Utah. Dave & Dalcne Faekrell and some family members of Salt Lake area spent the weekend at their summer home in Orderville. John & Melba Hoffer of Provo spent a few days at their home in Mt. Carmel. Visiting at the Clark Lambs were Blair & Cheryl Bentley and girls of St. George. The Ron Lambs of rage, AZ, Brad & family of Pleasant Grove, Derek & family of Salt Lake City, and Sharlene Rowley spent the weekend with their parents, Voi & Farel Sorensen. Mike & Brenda Johnson of Centennial Park visited with Lincoln & Bessie Crofts. Jonathan Johnson and a friend spent the weekend with his parents, Bob & Laura Johnson. Joe & Rebecca Buscher of Tucson, AZ, and Mack Esplin Jr. visited withtheir father, MackEsplin. I know that Tve missed many of the visitors who traditionally come home for the Memorial Day weekend, but they know that they are Jeanette and family, all Esplins, always welcomed with open arms. Baron called Leif Baron, son of Mark and Faylynn Baron has been called to the Italy, Milan Mission. Baron spoke in the 2nd Ward Sacrament Fre-don- ia Meeting. He will be entering the MTC on June 10. Summer Sunday School Program 435-648-26- Marilyn, the daughter of Eric and Colene Brinkerhoff, and Mark, the son of Duane and Carol Stewart, have chosen to be married Friday, June 5, 1998 in the St. George LDS Temple. That same evening Mere will be a reception at the Glendale Church in Glendale, Utah from 7--9 p.m. On Saturday, June 6, 1998 there will be an Open House at Me Tropic Church in Tropic, Utah from 7--9 p.m. J s i i i 38 i j t 89A. We will set sail to Way Island to hunt for treasure. Any treasure we find will be sent to the children in Guatemala. Our Special Summer Mission Project this summer is By Kids . , . For Kids directed through Lutheran Hour Ministries. Squawk! Along the way, we will take shore leave to discover the many ways that God shows His love for us. We will learn about Noah, Baby Moses, Jesus Stills the Storm, Jairus Daughter, and The Great Catch ofFish. Yes, we will also sing songs, make fun crafts, play games and do much last day of our trip.
