The Larriettes competed season. in individual dance competitions 5-- 6, on December 5. They each choreographed and perfected dance routines on their own time after team practices. Natalie Crosby, Kacie Bonham, Brandy Lewis, Jill Glazipr, Kari Stiriand and Tasha Lowe all had the courage to enter this highly competitive contest. Dancing with a team can be scary, but performing alone in front of an audience is terrifying Have you because its all you and every flaw is magnified. Im very pleased to say that all Larriette individual dancers made Kanab proud. In the 1A-2category, Jill Glazier took 3rd place and Tasha Lowe took 2nd place. The team performed well on Saturday. In the end, the Larriettes lyrical dance, choreographed by Tasha Lowe and Mindi Stiriand to Mariah Careys Butterfly took 3rd place in the category. In the jazz competiIA-2A-3- A tion, in which they performed to Michael Jacksons Beat It choreographed by Natalie Crosby, KHS Larriettes took 4th in the 2A dance category. President Natalie Crosby had this to say about the weekend. It was a lot of fun and a good experience for everyone. Oh yeah, and it was gnTeat! The Larriettes have four more competitions this sea- son. They are at Delta, Richfield, Region and State. They are working hard and bearing down to prepare for the weeks ahead. Their next home performance will be at the Cowboy Classic on December 29 and 30. Come out and support the boys basketball team, and see the Larriettes perform their competition dances.
