Show Utah Highway Patrol During the period of time from June 29 through July 5, the Utah Highway Patrol made 205 stops, issued 151 citations and 92 warnings, investigated five DUI's, and six accidents, also assisting five motorists with car trouble. June 29 Trooper Esplin investigated an accident at the junction of SR9 and US 89. James Bodell ofNorth Fork failed to stop at the Junction, narrowly missing two vehicles and then rolled his vehicle. The owner was located and the dog turned over to him. July 10 A deputy responded to a report of a house in the Ranchos that was possibly hit by lightning. July 11 Two juveniles were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. They were released to their parents and were referred to juvenile court to answer to the charges. An accident on S.R. 11 was investigated. The injured was transported to the Kane County hospital by ambulance. The Kane County Jail averaged 17 inmates during the past week with 17 new bookings. |
