All this was after the final gun had sounded. On the next play Brown took the ball and (barely) punched over the middle to give the Cowvictory over a team boys a that recently defeated Beaver, last years state champions. Kanabs first goal was scored on a pass to Glover in the first period. After that is was a defensive, scoreless game until into the third period. Late in the third quarter the Rams scored a TD and kicked the extra point to take a 6 lead. Kanab fumbled on the ensuing kickoff and South Sevier recovered. A couple of plays later, and now in he 4h period, Joe Taylor took a pitch out and ran it all the way for the Ram second score. The PAT failed and South Sevier led . From then until the final seconds it was the Rams ball much of the time, but lady luck was smiling on the Cowboys and their final effort (late though it may have been) brought a much desired victory to Kanab. 13-1- 2. This reporter didnt get to the game until it was into the third quarter, but he did get the best so far as Kanab was conpart cerned. Several Cowboy fans had given up the ghost and went home in the last minute or so, because it looked impossible. However, with 40 seconds to go, Greg Glazier hit Kenny Brown with an aerial. Brown made a spectacular catch amid Ram defenders for a 30 yard gain. An end run by Brown resulted in a loss, and again all looked dark. The French, Italian and, to some extent, the Spaniards made cooking a fine art. Over the years, there has been a gradual change.
