Now the Streamline Royal Rovers, a national group of trailer camping enthusiasts, is adding a new twist. Rather than go traveling alone, theyre organizing caravans to travel as a group. At a meeting last September attended by Utah Travel Council Publicity Specialist, Robert Soltys, the Royal Rovers picked Utah for their ten-da- y inaugural trip. Soltys reports response to the Utah trip was overwhelming and Royal Rovers had no difficulty enticing 55 travelers out of their 2,000 national membership to come along. The ceiling was set for reasons of convenience and safety. The Rovers will set their first camp on June 18 at Pine Valley Campground just west of St. 27-u- Ilmnim- -I dont like the looks of that eye 3. The Rovers will then proceed north camping at Duck Creek Campground and Palisades State Park enroute to their final destination at Wasatch Mountain State Park where theyll spend two days touring Heber Valley and Salt Lake City before heading home. Many members of the caravan have indicated to Soltys that they plan to remain in Utah past their official June 27 termination date. Lee Jorgensen, director of the Utah Travel Council, states, We are happy to host the Streamline Royal Rovers Caravan. We hope this is the beginning of many cartours through avan vacation Utah.
