It was really fun especially cause we got to have it outside. We bad a surprise belated party. Just as fun, only thing different was, she was a day older. Alton News Notes and Current Events by Don Ellison Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cox went to Salt Lake City last Monday to take their son, Lewis, for a physcial examination. Mrs. Laura Campbell accompanied them to visit. They returned home Tuesday. Ronald Heaton went to Provo to enroll at BYU for summer school. He returned home for the weekend and he and Raymond Heaton returned there Sunday. While there Raymond will have a doctor check up on his broken wrist. Mrs. Marie Crosby went to Salt Lake City last week to stay with her daughter, Mrs. Marva Thomas. Thearon Crosby went to Mesa Ariz., last week to visit at the home 'cf a son, Leslie Crosby. Mrs. Martha Roundy went to Las Vegas, Nev., last week to visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glenna Anderson. The Elgin Palmer family from New Orleans, La., and her mother from Pensacola, Fla., are visiting at the Ray Palmer home. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cox and Gerry Hoyt went to St. George on Thursday. The Dilworth Hoyt family left Thursday evening for Salt Lake City to take their son, Gerry, to the mission home. He will serve in the Brazilian Mission. Cox, 84, who died June 19, 1969, of raautral causes was held Monday at the Glendale Ward chapel. Every member of his family and all his brothers and sisters were present at the services.
