F. Jensen during the month of June and first part of July. Mrs. Josephine Kane of Le Mesa, Calif., is visiting with Mi. and Mrs. A. F. Jensen. Mis. John Myron Chadwick, son of Angus Chadwick, of Phoenix was a recent visitor with his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs A. F. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Jensen and children visited in Long Beach, Calif. Mr.' brother and sister-in-laand Mrs. Cal (Barney) Stevens Agricultural Agent County William M. Brechan was a visitor in Fredonia Tuesday and Wednesday July 18 and 19. Mr. Brechan conferred with 4 II club leaders and also checked on agricultural problems here. Mrs. Dale Gifford (Alice May) and children has returned to her home in Las Vegas, Nev., after a three week visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Waiter Judd. lcj Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Brooksbv were Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Brooksby and children of Phoenix, Mr. and Mrs. Velan Call and children of Flagstaff, Keith Brooksby of Flagstaff, and Mr. and Mrs. Rouel Henrie of Ogden, Utah. Dr. and Mrs. Alma Judd and family of Tuba City visited with Alma's parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Dart Judd last' Friday and Saturday. Mr. Owen W. Judd and family from Las Vegas, Nev., enjoyed a visit with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Judd. Owen and family returned to his work in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Judd aie visiting at the home of Theron's. parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Dart Judd. Theron teaches Industrial Arts in the new high school located between Lakeside and Pinetop, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Durwood McKinney of Flagstaff visited with Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Jensen. The McKinneys left to take a trip up the Colorado River with Art Green. Mr. McKinney was formerly County Assessor of Coconino County. Carl and Malissa MacDonald of Scottsdale are visiting with their grandfather and grandmother Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Jensen. fr" s In Officer Training - FT. LEWIS, WASH. Cadet Roy W. Esplin, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Ii. Esplin, is attending Army Re serve Offeiers training Corps summer camp at Ft. Lewis Wash., which began June 1(1. II is a student ai Utah State University at Logan. He is receiving six weeks of rifle training in leadership, marksmanship, physical conditioning and other military subjects. Upon successful completion of summer camp and graduaiion from college, he will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Cadet Esplin is a 19(11 graduate of Valley High School at Orderville. Merrill Despain of the local Bureau of Land Management office in Kanab was picked up by a BLM airplane Tuesday and transported with other fire oriented personnel in the area to Alaska to fight a large fire in that area. Miss Edwards and other s,ate finalists will compete for the crown currently held by Caiol Ann Armacost, Upperco, Maryland. Miss Edwards knows how to milk a cow and is a lovclv testimonial to the value of nvlk and other dairy foods in the diet. She is Utahs hope for winning the 13th annual national American Dairy Princess title. at Brigham sophomore Miss Ed University, wards was selected as Utah Dairy Princess in competition held in Sail Lake City last November. If she wins the Amei erican Dairy Princess crown, she will Ik the third Utah beauty to garner the national title. Sue Ann Gooderidge (Gooci, Smithfield, was American Dairy Princess in 19(13, and Utah has also been represented nationally by Carol Ralphs (Stoker), Fet ron, who won the national crown in 1959. A Young Miss Edwards won honors in high school debate, was a cheer leader at Wasatch High School and is active in campus affairs at BYU. Gold and Sterling Silver Findings v j0mp.
