Directors of the Kanab Chamber of Commerce, and other interested persons, met at a Friday luncheon meeting at Parry Lodge to discuss several pressing and important local matters last week. The meeting, called by Chamber president Carol Bamson, took under advisement and discussion the matter of letting the Hollywood production com-pathat is here, and will start shooting September 8th, have the Chamber office building for their business offices. Directors of the Chamber gave their approval for the company to use the building, which according to a representative from Hollywood, would fill their needs during the some three months that they plan on being here filming. The company have at present ten people here working on sets and locations and getting ready to accommodate approximately 150 people that will be here for the film. Local people well acquainted with moving picture work here, predict that the picture will be the largest and longest in filming of any coming here. Personnel for the company indicated at the meeting that most of the company will arrive in Kanab September 7 with actual filming getting underway on the 8th and that they will be here well into November.
