Johnson Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Spencer And family enjoyed a vacation going into Wyoming end Montana and down the California coast, they reported a most enjoyable trip. Mrs. Lou Covington and Mrs. Till Blackburn left by bus to visit the Fen Covingtons In Twin Falls, Idaho. ' Three of the groups spent Thursday morning cleaning at the cemetery, its quite a big job and we would like to get it looking nicer, so if you have any spare time why not spent it at the cemetery mak4-- H ing it look nicer. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Graff and children of Provo, Utah visited at the Hugh Chamberlains home over the weekend Garys folks from Santa Clara, Utah came to visit with them. Mrs. Alfred Crofts of Pan guitch, Utah visited with her mother Minnie C. Russell Thurs- day. Galan Allred and Ronnie Pugh visited at the LaNard Johnson home and in Kanab, Utah Thursday afternoon they were enroute to Wayne County to attend the Graduation exercises there. Many of the townspeople attended the musical program held in Kanab Stake House by the singing mothers Thursday night the reports were a most enjoyable evening. Burke Sorensen underwent heart surgery in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah Thursday, at this writing he Is getting along satisfactory. Richard Williams a BYU stu- dent returning home to Mesa, Arizona visited at the LaNard Johnsons Friday morning with him were two girls from Mesa. Mr. and Mrs. Clive Jolley of Orem, Utah visited at the Eliza Cox home over the weekend they brought Pauline and Charley Reese with them to visit for the summer, Denise and Mary Ann Hepworth daughters of m City. Mr. and Mrs. EuGene Young and children of Salt Lake City visited at the Orson Youngs and Mark Chamberlains, e Chamberlain accompanied them down to visit her parents the Mark Chamberlains. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Young and daughter of Cedar City visited at the. Orson Youngs and Elburn Sorensens over the weekend Spencer went fishing. Mrs. Merrill Clark and son of Spanish Fork, have moved here for the summer to look after the Motels and Cafe. Mr. and 'Mrs. Clare Ramsay and children are here for the summer. Visiting their grandparents are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Hoyt of Salt Lake at the grandparents the Ervin Hoyts. Mr. Don Lundgrens parents are here visiting for a few days Ra-na- Jr f by moorifi'gHt; 4 uy e fy'Ktail. A baby Boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Harris (Bon- nie) on May 26th at the Kane Co. Hospital, proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Hazen H. Harris of Glendale, and Mr. and Mrs. Laddie Blackburn of Torrence, California. Mrs. Blackburn is here helping with the new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Lue H. Brinker- hoff went to Ogden to see relatives and friends the past week end. Mrs. Elaine Brinkerhoff went to California the past week to spend the summer. Robertson and family of Henderson .is living here at present and sending her little girl to Kindergarten. Mrs. Elizabeth Esplin and Miss Mardean Lamb of LaPoint are visiting here this week. Mrs. Ruth Reycraft and Flynn and family, who have been liying In Henderson, Nevada the past winter have moved home. Mrs. Bertha Ramsay returned home Wednesday May 26th, after visiting in Kanarraville with her daughter and family, the Christensens. Mrs. Maynard Ramsay attended Junior High and the High School Graduations for her granddaughters, Mareta and Colleen Christensen, in Cedar City while over there. Douglas Ramsay and a friend, Richard Priest of Ogden, Utah, returned home FridayMay 29th from college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. 6ouglas has been in Michigan the past nine months attending dental school Richard made the trip to Ann Arbor to bring Douglas home.
