Iverson of Washington visited at the Louisa A. Brinkerhoff home Friday. Mr .and Mrs. Mark J. Brinkerhoff went to St. George Sunday to visit her parents and watch conference on TV. er . and son Mont from Moccasin, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Esplin e and Mr. and Mrs. Loyd attended General Conference held in Salt Lake City over the weekend. "Miss Carla Bunker (Home Teacher at Valley High School) visited her parents and family in Orem, Utah over the week end. Mrs. Deral Swayer and Mrs. Lynn Barton and children were in Salt Lake City to attend conference and visit with a sister from the East who was there for conference. Carson Tait son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVier Tait of Fredonia, Arizona visited at the LaNard Johnson home while his parents were in Salt Lake to conference. The Darol Heatons girls of Fredona, Arizona visited with their grandparents the Perry E. Troys while their parents attended conference. Doug Crofts son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo H. Crofts of Pangultch, Utah visited with his cousin Greg Tait over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Terrance Hen-to- n went to Salt Lake to atter.d conference. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Heaton and family visited at the LeGrande C. Heaton home for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Horrace Burrows were in Cedar City Saturday on business and visiting. A speech meet was held at the Valley High School. Friday. Due to the weather all the schools didnt show up to participate. Some of the boys from the Valley High School attended tle Track Meet held in Dixie Saturday, Visitors at the Perry home Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Figgins and children of Fredonia, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Cram and daughter of Fredonia, Arizona visited at the Kieth h home Saturday. The Five County held their meeting here Friday evening, the High Priest Quorum served the banquet. Mr. and Mrs. Garland Esplin and daughter of Henderson, Nevada visited at the F. M. Esplin home and with other friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Spencer and daughter of Salt Lake City, Utah visited with the LaNard E. C. Heaton Hey-born- Hep-wort- vada to seek employment. We really had a very nice storm, today it looks like it might be over but cold. Seems that quite a few of our townspeople have found the Kane County Hospital the place of their abode the past week, they are: John Chamberlain, a heart attack and still confined, Arviila Heaton, Larry Esplin observation and test; Grace Heaton still confined. We hope them all a very speedy recovery. Visiting at the Perry E. Troy home is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Covington of Lehi, Utah. The Juniors are busy at the Prom decorations which will be held April 17th. Gbndab Kanab, Utah How s Thursday, April 9, 1964 hours. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Cutler arid Children from Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cutler and baby from Cedar City were house guests of vMr. and Mrs. Dean Cutler over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Johnson accompanied Edna Mae Daniels and Mother to Salt Lake City. While there they attended con. ference, and attended the convention of DUP held at Hotel Utah. The highlight of the convention was viewing the great vaults in Cottonwood Canyon that have been built for storing the records oFthe LDS Church. Mrs. Ramsay and her sister, Mrs. Sessie Clark of Ordervilfe went to Hatch and accompanied Mrs. Norene Evans on to Draper where the services were held Friday the 3rd. There were seven girls in the Merrill family and Mrs. Munson is the first to pass away. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Spencer (Bill and Rita) was christened at sacrament services Sunday by her father and given the name of Shanna. The parents of Mrs. Ruth Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Sperry of Mona, Utah and also their daughter in law, are here this week visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shields of Roosevelt, visited relatives here and in Orderville the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Campbell went to Salt Lake City on business this week. Mrs. Ileen D. Robinson end family of Henderson, Nevada, came out to see her mother Eva A. Dallin for her birthday on April 4th.
