This new bridge will replace the timber and stone structure that was undermined and abandoned more than a year ago on Arizona Highway 389, west from Fredonia to the Utah State line near Colorado City, formerly Short Creek. One half mile of highway ls included in the project; and the approaches will be finished as the bridge is completed. The new bridge and approaches eliminate a sharp curve and the temporary crossing that has' been In use since the wooden structure was abandoned.
