A sudden accident, Monday noon, on a snow slick high vay two miles north of Kanab ook five lives, leaving only one survivor of the accident. Sheriff LaNard Johnson, travel ing behind the auto, which was north bound, witnessed the accident, and immediately went into action in getting aid to the vie Mms. The car traveling about 33 miles an hour, hit a slick stretch of roadway follow ing a snow storm went off the highway near the diversion tunnel of the Kanab Irrigation Co. in Kanab Creek, and hit updh down on solid rock after falling some 50 feet. Fred Hurley Cody Jr., 32, Flag-statdriver and Bennie Cline Yazzie, 44. Tonalea, Arizona, were dead at the scene. Ben C. Yazzie, 12, died enroute to the Kane County Hospital.
