True we have only three law enforcement officers in Kane County, but they have demonstrated their ability in good law enforcement and the hard way. Besides enforcing the law, they have to depend almost entirely upon their own judgement as to proceedure and legality. Our duly elected County Attorney is rarely available when needed. He is maintained full time on the Utah State payroll.
