This testing is done with a machine loaned by a doctor and operated by volunteers, and if the test indiates that there could be a vision problem, then the child Is given a note to his parents to have further testing dofrie by a skilled vision expert. It will pick up some eye problems, and will help school personnel recommend when a child needs medical aid for better vision, Mrs. Green said. All youngsters from kindergarten through twelfth grade will receive the tests. Any other citizens of the town who wish to have an eye check are welcome to come in after hours to have it done.
