In our first league game against Bryce .Valley the Buffaloes won over the Mustangs by a score of 54 to 49. Escalante met their first defeat in league play when we stmpeded to a 68 to 42 win over them. We really had a nice snow storm here, snowing most of the day Tuesday, the last two days have really melted it though. " Greg Tait son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tait entertained his boyfriends Wednesday evening the occasion his 12th birthday. Visiting overnight Friday at the Mark Chamberlains was Dale Payne, their son in law, he had been on a trip along the California coast and was returning home. On Dixie Honor Roll and Sandra Mackelprang, Fredonia, both have been named to the honor roll for autumn quarter at Dixie Junior College,, in St. George, Utah. Her actives at Dixie College include being an active member of Lambda Delta Sigma, the college marching band, and an officer of the Spanish Club. Both Misses Brown and Mackelprang are active in church functions and reside at Dixiana, womens residence hall n St George. Purpose of the course is to provide the BLM employees with latest information available concerning range techniques, according to R. D. Nielson, BLM state director for Utah. The agenda includes periods when the trainees discuss application of this inforjnation to the Bureaus resources program.
