I would like to commend the young folks of Orderville for their conduct on Halloween, there were lots of Trick and Treaters but to, my knowedge the Seminary Building was the only place with waxed windows, also one window was broke at the Seminary building, that wasnt too good of sports, do you think? The MIA Haloween jparty Tuesday, night wax a lot of fun with many of them in costume. The Primary held a different kind pf Halloween Party on Wednesday each class went to a home for a story and games then back to the Recreation Hall for re freshments. Hugh Chamberlain underwent surgery Friday in the Kane County Hospital, they replaced the battery, it is reported that he la getting along fine. The Valley High School Band students attended the U. S. Marine Band concert in Cedar City Friday afternoon, the students were real thrilled with the performance, many of the townspeople also attended. The Costume Ball at the Valley High School Friday was one of the best I remember attending, nearly every one was in costume. I wouldnt of liked to have been the judges. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Millett of Lake Arrowhead, California visited at the Charles T. Hepworth home Thursday, they are cousins of Charles. Charles T. Hepworth returned home Friday after undergoing surgery in Salt Lake he is up and around. Donald Esplin spend the week end home from his employment in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. EuDell Hoyt visited with Emily Tanner, Mra. Hoyt was going to stay longer but her husband found employment for both of them. Many of the townspeople attended Stake Conference held in Ka-- of and daughters Utah Provo, spent the week end here iu honors of her Birthday, also Mr. Den-net- mother of Tooele was here. The Cub Scouts of Orderville presented the Community Improvement Committee $13.00 to help buy the Fountain which will be installed in front of the Church House. I think this very nice gesture for the Cub Scouts. Mr. Ed Crofts is hospitalized we wish him a speedy recovery and hope hes home soon. Brent Brinkerhoff son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brinkerhoff is hospitalized we hope hes home soon. Suzanne Sorensen daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sorensen and Dale Brinkerhoff son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brinkerhoff were married Saturday in the St George Temple a reception will be held November 10th in the Orderville Ward Recreation HpU for the newlyweds, they will make their home here. Mr. Ken Chamberlain of Richfield, Utah visited here with his folks the Hans Chamberlains Monday for a short while. Linda Lamb and friend Christine of Delta spent the week end here from their studies at CSU. Also here from CSU were Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Young, and Gary Heaton. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fuhrmann, and children daughter, of Burbank, California are here visiting with the Clyde Taits, visiting the parks.- - and hunting. Roma Cox daughter of Mr. and Mra. A. B. Levanger and the late Charles Cox, will be married Sat urday November 10th to Arthur (Art) Tait son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMond Tait of Mt. Carmel, Utah. Open house will be held for them Thanksgiving evening. Remember Thursday November 15th at 8 p.m. in the Music Room at the Valley High School.
