Hendricks, reports the Navajo Lake road construction project, under contract to A. L. Young and Sons, has been closed for this season due to moisture and temperature conditions. Approximately three inches of base course gravel has been crushed and placed on the road bed to date, and Mr. Henricks states that construction, consisting of graveling and surface oiling, will be resumed and completed as early next spring as weather conditions will permit. Outline Season The Kanab District Boy Scouts of America have planned the following scout Events for October, according to Dwain Haacke, District Chairman. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28 there will be a Survival and First Aid encampment held at the Sand Dunes for all scouts and explorers. Unit leaders will receive details on this event in the very near future. This event will be under direction of Garn Willis, camping and activities chairman. Monday and Thursday, Oct. 23 and 26 and on the following Monday, Oct. 30th there will be a first aid training course for all adult leaders. This instruction course will be directed, by Dr. R. R.
