Unless otherwise notified the first Thursday of each coming month will be regular meeting night Mrs. Myrtle Bean, this years RTA President expressed her appreciation for the large crowd that was in attendance and is putting forth every effort to make this years meetings worth your time. P-T- The children In the First and Third grades are quite concerned about their pigeons because they do not have mates. They might become even more concerned about their own mothers If they were to come to the usual meetings and see how many mothers were there without their mates. The records show that the children do have- fathers. Of course this year will be different, we hope The officers are encouraging both parents to come by offering a picture to be hung in the room of the class with the highest per centage of fathers to be present at Thursday Oct 18. The picture will stay in the room until another grade gets a higher percent of fathers out to The Elementary school at the end of the first six weeks has an enrollment of 239. 1st grade 42; 2nd. grade 40; 3rd grade 36; 4th grade 47; 5th grade 35 and 6th grade 39. Achievement and mental maturity tests have been given to the second, fourth and sixth grades. The third grade has a new e member. She is Janice and comes from Colorado.
