I have the forms in my office and Ill be more than happy to supply these to you upon request. You may receive 2c for each gallon of gasoline .purchased after 1955 and used during the first six months of 1956 on a farm for farming purposes. If you only have $5.00 coming it will be the easiest $5.00 you ever made. Plan now to keep records of gasoline used on the farm for next year. You will receive 3c per gallon used for next year. Some of you are planning to register your farms in the conservation reserve part of the soil bank. The closing date for 1957 wont be until next March but I thought a word of caution might be wise. A basic part of the conservation reserve is that you must have or establish a cover for the land registered in that part of the soil bank. There is a good possibility that your land will not be approved for planting a cover next spring or summer so that those who wait until next spring to sign, their land into conservation reserve may have to wait another year to approval.
