West, 2576 East 17th South, when they entertained enter-tained at their home on Thursday evening. Turkey dinner with all the trimmings delighted guests Mr. and Mrs. Rod P. Dixon of Bountiful, Bounti-ful, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Edwards, Ed-wards, Mr. and Mrs. Moe McCul-lough. McCul-lough. Also enjoying the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Howard C. Bradshaw, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Darger and Dr. and Mrs. Richard G. Barton. PROGRESSIVE DINNER A progressive dinner party will be on the agenda for a group of Salt Lake City dentists and their wives when they meet at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Wendell E. Taylor Saturday evening, Dec. 15. Portions Por-tions of such a unique dinner will be served also at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Burton M. Todd and Dr. and Mrs. Robert M. Sutton. Dr. and Mrs. Donald C. Sansom, Dr. and Mrs. William C. Crockatt, Dr. and Mrs. John W. Schofield will be among the guests adding to the gaiety of the evening. HAWAII VACATION Two wonderful weeks in Hawaii it was for Dr. and Mrs. Malcom S. Jeppson. Their flying trip took them to visit Dr. Jeppson's brother, Professor Ernest Jeppson, who teaches Industrial Education at New Church College in Hawaii. Young Master Malcom Robert Jeppson, three months old, and four year old Christie spent the two weeks with their grandmother, Mrs. W. E. Davis, in Brigham City. SYMPHONY GOERS The wonder and beauty of the Symphony's rendition of "Joan of Arc" drew many to the tabernacle Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Darger's home was the scene of an after-symphony party. Among the guests who marveled at the perfection of Dorothy Mc-Guire's Mc-Guire's interpretation of Joan were Mr. and Mrs. Hugh C. Garner, Dr. and Mrs. Jack D. Stringham, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas A. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Young. Also there were Mr. and Mrs. Reid Nibley, Mr. Richard Nibley, Mr. and Mrs. Knute Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Young. GRANDSON A new baby boy is livening the household of the William Fowler residence, 1584 East 13th South Street. This two week old youngster, young-ster, to be named Matthew Emmett Fowler, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Fowler, 361 - 6th Ave. His mother is the former Ineaz Caicedo Diez of Bogota, Columbia in South America, so one day a trip to South America will be a "must" for this little tyke in order to be able to meet his cousins, aunts and uncles on his mother's side of the family. BABY GIRL, Also just arrived at home to make a merry holiday season for the Frank S. Pykes, 526 "C" St., is a new baby girl. Her name will be Stephanie and Sugar House grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Mariani of 2240 Parley's Terrace. Two year old brother, Gregorey, is doing himself proud welcoming the new one. Mother is the former Jean Mariani. |
